Bridge the Gap Academy is a Step Up For Students direct provider. Eligible Florida families can apply their scholarship toward tutoring sessions — stretch your scholarship further and give your child the personalized support they deserve.

Use the search and filters on the Find a Tutor page to browse tutors by subject, availability, and more. Every BTGA tutor is identity-verified and interviewed before joining.

Open a tutor's profile, pick an available time that fits your family's week, and follow the prompts to confirm. You'll get a confirmation email with the session details.

Yes! Your first 45-minute session is complimentary, so your child can meet their tutor and you can see the fit before committing.

Yes — Bridge the Gap Academy is a Step Up For Students direct provider. Email jsinanan@btgatutoring.com before booking and we'll walk you through applying your scholarship toward tutoring sessions.

We don't charge a cancellation or rescheduling fee. We kindly ask that sessions are cancelled or rescheduled at least 3 hours ahead of time so our tutors can plan accordingly. Payments already made toward a cancelled or rescheduled session will apply to a future session.

Payments are made securely at checkout by credit or debit card through Stripe. Step Up for Students families: reach out first and we'll help you use your scholarship instead.

Email jsinanan@btgatutoring.com right away and we'll resolve it quickly — including arranging a make-up session or applying your payment to a future session.

After each completed session you can rate your tutor and leave a review right from your dashboard. Reviews appear on the tutor's profile to help other families.
